We have loads of players who can play wide.
Sterling, Mahrez,Torres,Jesus, Foden and Grealish.

Our attacking midfield is less well stocked. keV, Gundo and Bernardo. If the latter leaves we are only an injury to keV away from a disaster. Yes Jack can fill in there but the 8 position is not what he's used to.

Time for Phil to come off the wing and fulfill his destiny as daves replacement.

When did Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden retire?

Although in essence I agree Grealish wasn't as much of a "luxury signing" as some have suggested (including myself in the past), especially if Bernardo is off.
