I‘ve also been watching the goals we scored in the Centurions season….we were ruthless and goals flew in from every angle. It seems so strange to see our team not scoring as many now even if we are still top scorers. I’m not saying our current squad isn’t as strong as the Centurions just that the finishing seems to be otherworldly then, looking back only a few years.

If you were saying it, you'd be absolutely correct. We're well short of that quality and leadership atm.

We appear to have amassed group of players who lose their heads in front of goal. So many scuffed shots and, the one I can never understand, the balloon over the bar. Where's the difficulty in getting your foot over the ball? I'd love us to buY a player whose main objective is to put the ball in the net, and enjoy doing it. I'd take Lewandowski (if available) rather than give Levy £150m, then throw the money at Haaland next year.
