Wasn't told who or what, just Txiki has been offered a couple of possible options since Friday.
I thought we scientifically analysed the player market place, used analytics to determine our targets well in advance, create dossiers and 360 psychometric testing to hone the list down and then did our business early as possible.
being approached by agents on a couple of prospects two days prior to the window shutting doesn’t really fit that methodology ;-)

He can't a worldie against us if we sign him tbf

And FIFA don't forget - first port of call is to check the FIFA22 player ratings.

I would love to sign Traore and put him right up top.

He's unplayable and, while not being ruthless, his strength would cause carnage for our players going beyond him?

Love watching him play.

Hope it goes well tomorrow mate. But get them to give your head a check too will you!

He is great to watch but has no end product. If he had any, Wolves would have been 3 up at HT. He would never have space to run into for City and we have other players who might be less strong but can hold the ball up without a problem.

We just need a man to stick it in the net.

I remain convinced Torres is going to be a top player. I said before the Arsenal game, his disallowed goal against Norwich was like watching Aguero. Little dart into space and instant shot to sweep the ball home at the near post before the keeper was set.

If he has that in his locker, plus the flick v Newcastle and general habit of getting on the score sheet now, in 1 year, 2 years and beyond then wow he is going to be a talent. 1 in 3 for City already at 21 from a stop start season. And an excellent record in the CL albeit against perhaps weaker sides.
