If Mendes is a generational left-back talent. We should definitely go for him. And given the Mendy situation. We will go for a left-back in a years time anyway.

And the fact that we missed out on a striker means that we should have plenty of money. Getting a quality left-back now means less work for Txiki next summer.

Can never tell till they join and do well. Fwiw he's very highly rated, already made the national squad. Would be an easy partnership with Dias, we need a left back, it's €40m, a very good deal to do. We can send Porro the other way again.

But as usual, nothing happening. PSG will probably get it done because they've been starting a centre back at left back, and their 2 full backs are injured.
