if the rumours about his release clause being activated are true, they will have no choice but to let him go if he wants to leave
 
To not strengthen after a title win (I know grealish will be a good signing) is just a basic error by the club

We will still be up there I hope but Khaldoon and Txiki have not performed after the promises made

The others have closed the gap while we stood still
 
PSG basically did what Khaldoon promised, creative deals like free transfers for nearly everybody including some top names and a last day loan for a good young LB and disrupting the market with their wage bill and the Mbappe deal rejection.
 
Not many, if any positions where £50m players are obviously elite, the best players attracting the best clubs. Having the money to buy these players is only a part of the package. We may have to get used to more windows like this.
