What TH has written is that Grealish himself thinks hie's coming and that the rumor is that a player need to leave before it happens. So, TH and Billy's info don't have to be contradictory, though seamingly look like it.

I don't think Kane will be a Spurs player at the start of next season.

It’s not that simple with conte. If levy goes back on his word conte will walk before the season has started. He is that volatile. I think the most like scenario, assuming they do get conte, is that Kane sticks around 1 more year. He has said himself in that Neville interview he is no rush to move and feels he has 7 good years left so i doubt he is absolutely desperate to leave right now. Conte appointment can also be seen as spurs showing ambition which is what Kane wants. I really don’t think it is unlikely Kane stays. Conte is they key imo

I get what you are saying mate.
If there is interest from City and Kane fancies it,he has 2 choices,imo.
Does he stay at Spuds in the hope Conte or another new manager can turn them into contenders on all four fronts in 2/3 seasons,or,does he walk into a City team that WILL be challenging on all four fronts next season and so on.
Don't think the wage will differ much at either club.
Kane's ambition and hunger for medals is key,imo.
