Would be an interesting swap, City could very well go for that.

And then also have room for Graelish, while signing a forward to 'replace' aguero.

Speaking hypothetically, rather than wishfully.

Sorry, to be clearer I meant his career as Spurs chairman. Effectively his career at the top of football. Maybe not immediately but it would be a huge blow to his reputation to lose Kane UNLESS he extracts an insane price from City, which he won't be able to manage.

We've already seen leaks that he thinks £200m is right. He's probably thinking that will pull us up to £150m. 0% chance City get anywhere near that.

He’s a very shrewd operator and his Spurs career will be absolutely fine because whatever decision he comes to will be the right one for Spurs, as a business, when taking full account of the situation the club is currently in.
The whole of football will know that and it could even enhance his reputation.

And, no, he doesn’t think that Kane is worth £200 million (and neither do any Spurs fans who can tie their own laces) because he’s a very clever businessman and not an idiot.
However, as the man holding Kane as an asset he won’t be drawn to counter any media claims of a stupidly high valuation because that would reveal something of his thinking and he’s not daft enough to be promoted to do that by some cheeky journalist writing bollox for those stupid enough to believe it.

Ok moody, so - again - my point is that if your interpretation is correct, I don't think he will sell Kane to City. It's only good for Spurs at a price point that City won't touch.
