It's time to ban drums from the Etihad

I can cope with poor football but incessant drumming is making watching some Champions league matches intolerable. Why do we allow them in?
You are not allowed in the ground with something bigger than A4 size...
But...if you have a MASSIVE DRUM its fine
Fucking sort it City it's a joke !

From the OS:

Backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks, or other similar items of any size, large or small, will not be allowed into the stadium. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted.

Bags bigger than A4 are not allowed in the Etihad Stadium. If you do have a bag bigger than A4, consider storing it at an off-site location by clicking this link. Etihad visitors get 10% off using the code ETIHAD10

If you must bring a bag to the stadium that exceeds the allowable size, the bag storage facilities are available on the Orange car park that you can use to securely store your items will be in place until the match has finished. The bag storage is priced at £10 per item.

So why the fuck can away fans bring in huge drums that suck the life out of any atmosphere from the home fans. Home teams used to and probably still do try ever6 trick in the hook to unsettle away teams. Fuck me certain clubs still have an exemption to not offer pitch side seats or have large screens. But not City, we allow away fans to make themselves at home to the detriment of the club. Pretty much made my mind up to sack off CL next season. Bloody expensive, midweek late kick offs, surrounded by away fans, drum going thud all match and Pep taking the piss with his team selection.

That’s two games I’ve come home from with an headache due to the idiots with drums and loudhailers can’t see how they can watch the game whilst performing totally ruin any chance of an atmosphere same at Palace watching football whilst some prat with a drum entertains themselves with bang bang bang is not for me

Yes. They’re making me not want to attend, they are that annoying!

We had a good few years without letting them in and CL nights were much more enjoyable for it.

Last two games have been ruined by the drum. Their bloke was raising his arms above his head and absolutely twatting the drum on every beat. I could barely hear their fans chanting over it, never mind any murmurs of our fans chanting.

I love a good atmosphere, but drums do not make them.

Sick of them. If they’re back for CL games, I think I’ll pull out of the Cup Scheme, I hate them that much.

The first time they've banned the Drum was vs Bayern in the QF during the treble season.

I thought this was one of the best decisions the club ever made, and made European Nights far more enjoyable, and helped our atmosphere out massively. This is something that fans seem to have unanimously agree on.

Only City would take a decision as successful and well received as that, and completely reverse it.

Once again proof that the people in charge really are clueless.

So 400 blokes and a drum make more noise fhan 50k+ blues and you think the problem is a drum?

Tbf i f ing hate it and the constant repetitive chanting.
Their fans were shit. Jumping up and down like robots is not supporting your team. Half of them barely cheered when they scored. No comparison to St James park where the crowd ebbed and flowed with the match.

So you can't take a bag in larger than A4, but you can walk in with a souvenir shop carrier bag stuffed full of shite you've just bought from the official club shop?
