Ah good cheers.
I'm shit with technology. So there's nowt coming out that we know of that would make a 4K Bravia obsolete or useless in the next year or so?
OLED? oh ffs. This is why I never end up buying anything. Also, it doesn't seem to have OLED technology which is the 'next' technology wave. Gives you sharper colours and deeper blacks. Seems a lot to pay for something that doesn't have that. If you haven't already, have a look on the what hifi website. They do pretty good reviews and will let you see what else you could get for that money. Have fun! whatever you get at that price will be pretty awesome. Are you connecting it to a sound system?

Wouldn't attach to a sound system unless it's wireless due to the set up of my apartment and lack of carpets out here.
The way to go:
OLED TV
SONOS Playbar with wireless surround speakers and Bass speaker
*Avoid curved TV's (Gimmick)
Mate, a high quality 65 inch OLED TV by LG or Panasonic will cost £5k or less. Buy a Sonos wireless sound system with it, sound bar, subwoofer and rear speakers and you will have a system to die for and still have a wedge of cash left from your £8k. Thank me later! A subwoofer in an apartment without carpets? Let me know how you get on as I have hesitated in buying a sound system with a subwoofer due to the potential nuisance to those living in the below apartment.

It sounds like somewhere GDM would fancy going for cocktails in Canal Street after a game.SONOS Playbar
