I went to a friends funeral a few weeks ago, his final departure tune was "Nice and Sleazy" by The Stranglers.
It was an inspired choice, I've always loved that song, but the hearing the rumbling bass-line as he went through the curtain was both heart-breaking and comedic.

A few of us off here went to a well loved BM poster's funeral a couple of years ago. Bluemoon by the Mavericks and then Always look on the Bright Side were played.

Made us cry and laugh in equal measure. Always a sign of a good funeral, if there is such a thing.

I went to the funeral of my best mate last year-heart attack at 46- totally unexpected. They played After image by Rush. The first line of the song is, suddenly you were gone, broke me in two. Bah.
