ITV and our group games

They are waiting until were drawn against RM so Clive can knock one out over Tranny fucking us over.
And then the smug rag twat will mention that 'magical night in Barcelona'

Glad really. Their coverage , commentary and analysis is appalling

Pidge it's all about bringing a balanced view to the masses with ITV showing matches in theory to give a full picture of English or British teams in Europe.

To be fair CSKA and Vicki Plez are not to quality opposition but that wouldn't stop them showing the rags.

Who knows how it's worked out though behind the scenes, and more to the point, who cares? Have us, United, Chelsea and Arsenal all had our respective games shown live throughout the competition so far? Yes.
Based on this forum and the General Forum, it seems the agenda stuff is just getting more and more bizarre/desperate to the point even the slightest thing is now jumped on. It's like people have to have something to find fault in, in how we are being perceived. Me personally, I would prefer to see all our games on Sky, especially the 6pm coverage ones where we get an hour and half of build up. ITV is and always has been very amateur in their football coverage, imo, so on that basis i'm happy for us to have the superior broadcaster to air our games, especially if it means listening to wee Graeme.

But for someone like me who has trouble getting to midweek games because of my wife working lates & not having Sky it sucks as i hate listening to games on the wireless, can you not see it's a bit weird they haven't shown us once?

Weird? No, because such things don't niggle me like one broadcaster showing our games more than the other. As for it being a pain in the arse for those who can't make it/watch it, course that must be a shit, but that is the same for anything in life. Do you think that Sky and ITV got together and schemed it so that ITV didn't have any of our games for a specific reason? If so, what do you think that reason is, as you obviously think it's weird....

Why the aggressive tone blue?
And to answer your question no i don't think they schemed against us as i don't think there is an agenda against us, i just thought all the British teams got a crack of the whip in the group stages...you know like last season yet this we get none!

Aggressive?! Christ, if you think that is aggressive there's little wonder you get narked by such things as one channel showing us more than another one.
As I said initially, if we had been on ITV more than Sky, I can guarantee the usual paranoid pete's on here would say it's because ITV get to use Keane to bash us with a big, pro-united stick, whereas Sky get to use Neville to stroke their balls with a big, pro-united feather duster.
The reality is it makes no difference who broadcasts who and i'm sure that if you asked ITV why this was the case this season, they would have a perfectly rational explanation.
Maybe we will be on ITV more in the knockouts? Who knows?
