Yes, they are fully aware we play the scum on Wednesday. It's just that Bacon Face has successfully conned the media into thinking they play a team of kids in the Carling Cup, therefore it's not considered a test for us. Afterall, we are "the billionaires of Manchester City" and should be expected to beat a team of under 18's 99% of the time, right? To be fair to Bacon Face, he manipulates the media very well, i'll give him that.

He does it every time though. We know full well he'll put 3 or 4 "kids" out, but the rest will be first teamers. And his kids will have a fair bit of cup experience between them.

The difference between ITV and BBC is basically own brands at Lidl against M & S. There coverage really is atrocious and has not improved from the start up "brash new boy" stance they adopted in the early days. If I am not mistaken they even edited out a goal in an England game in the sixties. Their insistance on calling it "footie" is enough for me not to watch.... it's football you morons.
