Ha ha Fettler, self inflicted i see, excellent. Tbh mate, imo i think a shift is taking place and it coincides with the amount of UFO activity thats being reported from around the world. By Spiritual shift i mean a sort of awakening, spiritualy. No end times as the knockers of 2012 so ridicule about, it maybe an awakening to the experience of this physical life to try and help us to discover how this existance should be lived out and the true meaning of peace on earth, as opposed to the dis-ease and conflict that the bastards have heaped on mankind since day dot.

That is were the 5th dimension beings may come into play, as they thrive on dis-ease and disharmony and do not want us awakening to the real power of love, as then they would'nt be able to manipulate destruction from the host that they so need, ie the Bush' of this world etc, Monsters inc. is a perfect example as to how they manipulate and live off the energy of disharmony and fear, take this away and all there would ever be would be peace. And before anybody says that Monsters inc. is just a kids film, there is a hidden message in there just like Aliens in The Attic, hidden messaging for kids, and note that some of the monsters have one eye, the all seeing eye?

Anyway Fettler, the othere slant on the 2012 experience is that the aforementioned ufo sightings are to warn us of impending danger, ie world self destruction as in ww3 and what the illuminati have planned for us once the dust has settled and the Agenda scuttle out of their underground cities and form the real New World Order, a new civilisation of robots if you like. Or there is an impending cataclysm with a planet passing or even hitting the earth, as in the past when past worlds have fell by the way side and become victim of the cataclysm.
Anyway mate, i'm off to my shelter under the stairs as i'm gonna get attacked from the herd, i tried to keep it brief Fettler. Locks staircupboard door behind me. :|

Certainly food for thought,buzzer.
I tend to steer clear of meteorite/asteroid destruction theories,as they would,by nature,be completely random events which we would be pretty powerless to prevent,and the "scorched earth" nuclear scenario seems to have abated somewhat,possibly due to the "mutually assured destruction" proliferation of a nuclear deterrent,much as I dislike nuclear weapons.
As to dates,I think that far too much significance is attached to them - I remember the bonkers hysteria on this very site circa the anniversary of 9/11 about how it wasn't safe to go out in case Bin Laden attacked Didsbury,or some such nonsense.
I would have thought that if some Machiavellian wrong-doers were to wreak havoc,then they would pick an insignificant date that would not alert enhanced security,maybe half-day closing would be ideal.
And you are undoubtedly right that there is indeed a corrupt system that rules the world in an underhand and cruel way,and does thrive on disharmony and inequality.
It is called capitalism.
