J-ROD

He certainly can get 'box to box' very sharpish, but will be judged on his finishing skills also. Game time will no doubt improve this, or maybe he is just trying too hard to score.

I understand we bought him in earlier than we initially planned so we could attempt to resolve some of his injury issues. i think we thought everton would patch and play him too much and wreck his long term chances. Anyway IF we ca sort his injuries out i think he will be immense and a fantastic more med long term signing like nasty.

Better than lampard at runs
Wat you smokin lad?

Look at the number of times he got into goal scoring positions today as that is evidence of his innate tendency to be at the right place in the box.

At the moment he has not really showed much but when fit and consistently appearing of the pitch, he will prove to be better in this unique and valuable skill. His technical ability is also sound enough to score lot of goals, perhaps he just needs the first to go in and he also needs to relax a wee bit.
So he's got to learn a lot more
Play a lot more
Then do a lot more and then ( i,e. score more after makin well timed runs)
He will be better than lampard
I could say the same about my 12 year old son behave mate.

Talent and Potential.
Hes got to play a lot more if injury allows cause then he will do a lot more and prove a lot more.

Thought he was Brilliant against Chelsea and Mancini obviously has faith in the lad to start him against them. He started the next match (Villa) after Chelsea so looks like when he is fit he will be a part of Mancini's plans.

I thought Tevez easily deserved MOTM last night, but Rodwell did put in a very good show, he seems to be chomping the bit when he gets his chance, eager to prove himself (unlike Sinclair and Garcia). The eagerness needs to be tamed a bit when it comes to rushing into tackles, I think someone mentioned the attempt along the sideline last night, but hopefully he will still be as enthusiastic.

Personally believe he is one to watch for the future, really don't want to end up with another Lakey, for his sake more than ours!

I'm not convinced the nickname J-Rod works as it sounds like a brand name for something to unblock the toilet. What about Hot Rod?

If he stays fit I feel confident he will be a big player for us despite feeling underwhelmed when we bought him.

Don't get me wrong i ain't havin a pop at jack Rodwell he's good but not there yet hopefully next Season after a preseason under his belt if he starts every week for a month
I will call him J.......ROD

No I won't lol
