Jack Grealish - Everton on loan

OK, play him wide. I don't care. Just let him run at people rather than just recycle it backwards for 90 minutes.
He chose to do that you don't see our better wingers or midfielders constantly doing that. Pep wants his wingers to take on players

"Pep ruined Jack" comes from people who refuse to believe we overpaid for him just because we continued to win titles while he was here. Sixty or seventy million on someone else, or 100 million on two players could have led to us winning the treble and following it up with more than one trophy in two seasons.
He was here in our most successful season though, so let's just say thanks very much and good luck for the future.
I agree, but even before we bought Jack I thought he was an unnecessary addition to the squad, especially at that price. He is a really good footballer but I don't think he believes in himself enough.

Problem with that mate is is that is the case he wants wingers to take players on but NOT lose the ball. Invariably if that's the case that could be the reason our wingers just end up recycling the ball.

Where has this Pep ruined Jack shite come from. The reason Jack is at Everton is because he isn't quite good enough and didn't really believe he was good enough to play for City himself.

Not sure why anyone would blame Pep. Jack didn't meet our expectations and that's on him not Pep. There have been so many attacking players who have played their best football under Pep than at any other time in their career. He allows them to be free to attack the opposition, but with the expectation they work hard to recover the ball if they lose it and they play the percentages. If someone is in a better position to receive the ball he expects them to pass it. Sane for example was giving the ball away regularly, he wasn't working hard enough defensively and Pep wasn't accepting it. Jack got too in his head over how good things were at City and he struggled to show the confidence in his own ability, probably putting too much pressure on himself to deliver. Pep has specific attacking plays and shapes and Jack was fine during the treble season where we wanted him to hold the width and have players underlapping into the box. But once there was a need for a bit more dynamism he couldn't do it.

He should thrive at Everton where he's got a bit more freedom and where teams will give him more space. He'll also be their key attacking player this season and should enjoy being the big fish in a small pond again.

100 mil price tag is the only issue with Jack, for 40-50 million ,noone would say anything bad ,but people expect from a 100 million player to do much more and thats the way it should be. Definetly were much better wingers on the market for 100 mil and i still don´t understand ,why City decided to pay it.

English premium.
The club saw what he brought.
They didn’t give a fuck about paying it.
Not your, or my money. We therefore shouldn’t give a fuck either.

Treble winner, and some.

And that’s all there is to it. Oh, he didn’t ask for that tag either.

Playing no differently to how he did with us but two assists to his name! Shows how the focus and obsession on certain stats is completely misleading. Pleased for him though, will help boost his confidence and help his resale value too.
