For this season he is still a valuable squad member. Nottingham Forest was a glimpse of what he was capable of playing in the centre. We aren't going to get any real quality in January as a replacement.
 
Never wanted him here so not bothered if he goes or not.....doesnt create or score....average player when we bought him (overhyped as per most English players) and not even come close to being anywhere near good enough in this squad/team....
Get some decent money for him and hopefully buy someone that can actually contribute assists and goals as keeping possession for most modern day footballers is the very least you should expect (especially when you dont take people on ala Grealish)

You'll probably get your wish in the summer but for now we still need to keep the squad we have got and add another defender if at all possible along with the Echeverri and McFarlane signings.
 
I like Jack and have consistently got behind him but he’s never looked a £100m player but that’s not his fault. Looked a much better player at Villa - looks a bit scared to express himself at City. Would be sad to see him go but it may be a good move for both parties.

yeah agree.

We dont need to lose more players at present but as of summer he would be first out the door for me (personally I would never have let him in the door)
 
Yeah we should be looking to offload in the summer (even if Jan if the right opportunity comes), love the guy and was massive for us during the treble, but failed to to push on last year and been disappointing again this year.

The fact he played so well against forest and has basically not been seen again since shows the writings on the wall at this point.

The sooner his wages are off the books the better.

If sacrificing Grealish means getting a top notch centre midfielder,right back or centre back in he will go in January. There’s other players that can play in jacks position. We won’t compete for major honours this season and we need players in January that will be well bedded in time for next season
 
Am I right in thinking that Jack's partner has had a baby recently no wonder he is bolloxed all those night times waking up at daft o clock for feeds . I would give him the end of the season to show if he wants it or not simply he has to prove he has the desire to stay here.

We won't get a top notch midfield in January. We have a better chance with a Defender although it is still a very slim one.
 
Hard one. I do love Jack. I think he has done what Pep has asked of him better than anyone regarding how many yards he earns us / ball retension etc. Just think he's a won everything kind of player maybe and is on a downward turn with us now. If there is another significant player we can get in return then can see it happening in Jan.

Similar. I've got a lot of time for him, but when you scrutinise his performances in the last 12 months they simply haven't been good enough. Some mitigating factors, injuries loss of form etc. But to have a wide player in a Pep team that hasn't scored a league goal for a calendar year, that's quite hard to make excuses for.

I dont want him to go, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is being looked at by both parties.
 
I like Jack but I just don’t see the hunger I’m afraid. To create little when in a creative position on the park is poor for someone on his wages.
