He doesn’t stand out, is what you mean.

Just because he doesn’t stand out doesn’t mean he hasn’t played well. He’s been an important cog to the side and is every time he plays. He serves the purpose that Pep wants him to and does it extremely well.

In my opinion anyway.

KDB, Ake and Stones have all made bigger contributions over the last 18 months than jack regardless of if they have played more/less or the same amount, even walker and gundo have been available.

The perspective is that he's our record signing, the club spent 100m on him, he didn't score a single goal in 2024, this is much more than just "Pep plays him as a left winger", even now when we are in dire need of just legs on the pitch he can barely get a sniff of playing time.

For me, if we are not going to play Grealish central and give him a free role, rather than looking at Bruno i would go in for a swap for Tonali, absolute rock in the midfield which is what we need, really don’t see it with `Bruno

It’s obvious to anyone who cares he has a problem with the drink. Only need to de see he conducts himself during the parades. Drinking yourself into that state is not normal for an aversge person not to mention a professional athlete.

He lacks any explosiveness (which is why his shots are always blocked) and struggles to stay fit. Both linked to his lifestyle away from the pitch I’d wager. Eventually not living the life will catch up with you.

I’d personally love to see the back of him and walker. I doubt the Newcastle links however as Newcastle don’t have any money to spend and grealish wouldn’t improve their starting eleven.

Nope had a few injuries along the way. Did well vs Salah a couple of seasons ago. Did a sterling job in winding up Atletico Madrid when they decided to kick lumps out of him and lost focus in trying to get back in the game. Scored what should have been the winner vs united too.
 
If Pep isn't willing to play Grealish then what is the point of keeping him. In another thread a poster mentioned that Grealish has challenged Pep (not a clue what this means and I doubt we will find out), however for some reason Jack has been very poor apart from one game this season.

A loan move with the other club covering the his salary still saves his 300K per week of £16M pa, just maybe other clubs will pay this. As a comparison if we were worried about the money that 16M pa salary = Zubimendi amortisation + paying him £120K week so the saving isn't to be sniffed at. We did something very similar with Cancelo when it was time to move him on
