He may not want to move abroad.
He has just had a baby so that is likely to complicated matters.
Obviously don't know ow what his or his missus' relationship is like with their families but can't see many women being happy about having to move abroad a few months after having their 1st baby.
Ah bless them, they have to move to a sunny climate, live in a massive mansion, have shed loads of cash, have servants wait on them, nannies, etc etc. How awful life is for some.

I thought he was coming in as a free spirit who would beat his man unlike Sterling. But he was even worse. And the same with Doku and Savinho.

I wish Pep had a way to bring the best out of wingers and still achieve what he wants.

Always felt Grealish would have been great in a AM role.
Doku beats his man with regularity, hence why he now usually has three men to beat.

This was one of tge many myths perpetuated about Grealish before we bought him. Someone at the time tried to tell me he was more naturally gifted than Foden!!! Hahaha

True but it's on repeat. What I mean is that there should be variance from our wingers so they are effective. they are all highly talented but we seldom seem to have real lethal play on the wing.

For those who think he’s a beast of a player, there is not a chance that Pep would ever give a free role to a player that has 22 PL goals and 29 PL assists in his CAREER - and he is 30 in a few weeks. Absolutely pathetic stats for a 100m 300k pw players.

We are stuck with him on the payroll until the day his ridiculous contract expires - cause other clubs pay more attention to photos of him out on the piss than they do of posed 6 pack photos of him training with a Gucci bag back drop.

I don’t think he is a ‘beast’ of a player. He creates very little and can’t shoot

We overpaid in terms of fee and wages - both of those were miles away from what he’d achieved on the pitch before joining

He’s played more championship games than premier league games at the time we signed him
We'll have to agree to disagree, physically and technically he could have been one of our strongest players. We've wasted him

Fair dos
But I don’t think he’s particularly good technically, he can’t shoot . All he seems to like to do is win free kicks, but never wins penalties. As for physically, has he ever been any good in the air and he’s not very quick either

100% agree, and if he is half as good as some people would have you believe, why is there not a queue of clubs at the door waiting to take him? He seems like a genuinely nice lad and I'll be thankful for the part he played in the treble but from the financial outlay paid he's been a dreadful signing no matter how people would like to dress it differently.

Nobody is trying to dress anything. He was a fantastic player at Villa, that's why we paid what we did for him. IF he's been a dreadful signing (and that's subjective), then it's because we bought that wrong player, that's not the players fault, that's the clubs fault. We haven't made too many recruitment mistakes in recent times, this was one. No pun intended but we bought the wrong tool for the job, that doesn't mean that tool couldnt have be the best in the world if used correctly

We'll have to agree to disagree then mate, all I will say is if he's this fantastic talent who has had his wings clipped at the club, why 3 weeks from the start of the season has he got no serious suitors? If in 4 years time Wirtz has similar stats as Jack has for us we'll be saying he was a bullet dodged.

if Grealish played for Arsenal he would be an absolute meme in here.
