The situation with Grealish is pretty fucked. We don't know exactly how much hes getting paid but we can safely say its between 200/300k (Which is insane)

He turns 30 in 6 weeks so has next to no resale value.

The only clubs that would be interested in him (west ham/ Everton/ Villa / spurs) would not want to pay him anymore than 100k realistically.

How does this end? Similar to Rashford?

He goes on deadline day with someone paying percentage of his wages. Not that difficult really.

Everyone knows he’s kept himself fit and he will be training all the way through pre season. No need for anyone to pay his wages any earlier than needed

He ends up with one of those clubs on loan and us paying him £100k a week and saving a similar amount.

I think we'd be mad to let Grealish go out on loan, Grealish is a fabulous player and has so much to offer, on his day he gets in this City starting 11 ahead of Doku and Savinho.

I'd love him to turn things around and start playing for us again.
He’s better than both of them two for a start, unless they seriously step up this season then they both need binning. Woeful numbers for a title challenging team
And I’m fully aware Jack’s numbers aren’t impressive either, but that comes from being asked to play effectively as a weird target man. Hold the ball up and win possession or fouls
Also remains madness that he he still never gets used centrally, despite showing his worth on limited opportunities

Jack's numbers in the PL are piss poor, 12 goals and 12 assists in the last 4 seasons,

He needs to go on loan and play, hopefully he does really well, then we might get some serious interest in him

Can't help but think that ship has sailed

Feels like something has happened over the last 12 months where he now knows he's surplus to requirements, hence all the social media posts showing him training, likely aimed at attracting a new club

He's costing us £20m a season, would be a complete unmitigated disaster if we end up loaning our record buy to reduce losses. In a market where youve got elanga going for £55m, madueke £52m, mbuemo for £71m ita unacceptable to not at the very least be able to write him off now.

If we loan him out, he's being loaned put until his contract expires. Play hardball, it's a permanent deal or he stays and we see what offers comes in January.
he's costing us close to £35M per season with amortisation and salary, he is very expensive

I think it’s because Aston Villa didn’t utilize him and let him play LW. Should’ve been a 10. at least That’s what some fans here are coping about.

Which is yet another weird decision from them.
Not really Gordon is better than him and their midfield 3 is set so he wouldn’t play there either.

Newcastle would not want to be lumbered with an ageing expensive player on huge wages not to mention his off the field activities. Wouldn’t make any sense for them

Would revel there ...... Great party town
