With most players fit, at least 2 high profile players have to sit in the stands. Today Silva and Clichy weren't fit, yet Rodwell didn't make the bench. Imagine Silva, Clichy and Demichelis were all fit with everyone else... high profile casualties. But it's rare the entire squad is fit. At the start of the season I assumed Rodwell was third in line when Yaya or Fernandinho were injured or rested, but wondering whether it's Garcia who is third in line and Rodwell fourth.

If he is fit and Garcia is getting selected ahead of him then I would expect a transfer request in Jan as Pellegrini must really really not rate him.

in my mind Pellers took Garcia over jack as a precaution if vinnie went down. Vinnie still coming off injury and his back up is already out til November. Garcia gives him an extra option.
yes micah was on the bench but I dont think cb is where the manager sees him.
