He's the Scholes of his generation - except that Jack can tackle. Just doesn't like tekkin' any of the shit he's happy to dole out! He wasn't hurt yesterday - just pissed off that he'd mucked up the attack and was then in default position - do the hang-dog expression and see if there's a yeller in the offin'. He must have been delighted to see the red!
 
Would hate to have had his ankles after how much our lads kicked them yesterday. Great player.
 
As an englishman it's great that he's a moaner, a rattler, a bit of a dirty bastard. With those attributes and his talent it's a great mix.
