Jackie Chan is a Blue

IMO it's a commercial masterstroke getting a photo shoot with Jackie Chan and the team. Jackie is a god and a legend in China, also a role model so millions of kids all over China will lap it all up. More effective than, say for example, buying a Japanese player to raise a club's profile ;)
 
Was it only me that found the whole interview incredibly cringeworthy?

Probably a good marketing tool for us in china but I think it's fair to say he has no idea about city.

Well , with todays ticket price hike announcement , if Mr Chan is after a season ticket for next season , he'd be well advised to get working on a new 'blockbuster' or two !
