Anyone else think we have cooled down on Firmino and hence the interest in Martinez? Both seem to be able to play on the left and as a striker.

Though I do think DiMarzio is wrong and Arsenal are the other club in question and not us.

I'd be incredibly underwhelmed if this is true. He is nearly 29 and we should be looking at younger players, in other positions as we don't need a striker if we are to play 1 up top.

Arsenal were known from the start to be interested, but both they and valencia have been beat out by Milan.
