This pretty much sums it up for me.
I think we will see alot of this lad and a few others in pre season. Whethere they go on loan after, or stay and compete for first team will be seen. I just dont want to see another tosin situation develop next season.

I would say there's zero chance Sancho is on loan next season. The club isn't going to send a kid who's just turned 17 off on a loan.

Twenty six months isn't 'a few years' ? What the exactly is it then ? Do they have a Quantum Physics department there or something & I'm missing the true function ?

And it's an absolutely ridiculous notion that the academy only existed when the new buildings were 'opened' . As if before that, nothing happened & none of the kids were actually being coached anywhere, or they had to live like tramps outside the huge indoor training facility at Moss side, where SWP, Ireland, Michael Johnson, Micah Richards, Sturridge, etc all came through to play Premier League football. All that happened was they moved.

And of course since that move, we've produced....

Not sure why you are so butt hurt. The Academy has been opened for just over two years. Your original post was about the NEW academy. Point stands that is has been opened for just over two years. Two years isn't a few years in most peoples minds. I'm not arsed really. I always saw it as a factory to churn out decent players and earn a crust for the club with a good enough player emerging every now and then. Elite clubs do not take a chance on blooding youngsters in top competitions. If they are good enough then they will naturally get a chance and it seems we may have one or two who maybe manage it.

Sancho not in the eds squad tonight, neither is Tosin. Guessing Tosin's in the squad for Wednesday, is Sancho ??

Sancho's not a 100% regular in the EDS squad, so it could be just one of those things, but its interesting.

Id like to see sancho on the bench tomorrow, full strength side with maybe a couple of youngsters. probably not gonna be the team but-

--------------- Gunn-------------------
Zabaleta--Stones--Tosin --Sagna
-----------------Garcia--------------------
---Fernandinho------De Bruyne-------
Sterling-----------------------------Sane
--------------Aguero-----------------

Bravo, sancho, nacho, silva, otamendi ......

I'd start Sancho in a strong side with with at least one of KDB/Silva in midfield to make sure he gets the ball.

His size, nvm form, means he's the most ready of the U18, who don't have a game until Sat.

And I wouldn't be starting him just b/c of the Arsenal BS - which surely is BS b/c no young player in their right mind would leave a club managed by Pep, least of all to Arse
