would be excellent progress as a loan move, valuable experience imo
if i were him i'd move away from this club for his development, nothing happened this season to suggest next season will be different. as a city fan though i really hope he makes it here
diaz played 15 odd minutes and foden made the bench in a game which was basically a friendly.... these aren't promising signs compared to other clubs in the top 6. to be fair this has probably been a strange season for pep in terms of results, and it might change dramatically next season, but i haven't seen anything in the last 3 seasons to suggest we are any good at integrating youth players at allReally? Diaz played and Foden made the bench. 5 u18's are going on the preseason tour and all of them have talked about Pep taking much greater interest and bringing them up to training at 16/17 years old.
It's not been the revolution we'd hoped for but lots has changed, just because you've not noticed it doesn't mean the kids haven't.

dont need to narrow it down to 16 and 17 year olds. all youth players in the last 3 seasons up to u21(u23) level.Name me any team in the top 6 that has done better with 16 & 17 year olds.

3 years ago there were 17 year olds in our academy believe it or not, they didn't get their chance either buddy. hope thats not too complicatedNo, do narrow it down to those kids because those are the age that Sancho is.

I thought your question was to name of top teams as well, seems to have sidestepped that one a bitAnd we started this by me pointing out all the changes that have happened for Sancho's age group with Brahim playing, Foden getting called up and all of them being involved with first team training regularly which was limited to the occasional 20/21 year old under pellegrini.
so because more young players get involved in training during international breaks, this is enough to refute our poor recent history of not using young players? And we started this by me pointing out all the changes that have happened for Sancho's age group with Brahim playing, Foden getting called up and all of them being involved with first team training regularly which was limited to the occasional 20/21 year old under pellegrini.
if you need a list on players coming out of academies into sides into the top 6, google will be your friend. assuming you know how to use it of courseI thought your question was to name of top teams as well, seems to have sidestepped that one a bit
Mate, it's not a loan move, they're trying to steal him before he signs a pro contract.
Can't even read meif you need a list on players coming out of academies into sides into the top 6, google will be your friend. assuming you know how to use it of course
Edit :- hang on a minute it wasn't me asking the fucking question, caray on.Can't even read me
It's hard to disagree with this.I want him to stay, however if I was him I would move to Leipzig.
If I believed in my development trajectory I would feel confident of breaking into that Leipzig team as a regular within 18 months, a bit like Sane did st Shalke.
The problem he has at City is the competition in front of him and because of that he will likely be loaned here there and everywhere for a few years.
I just don't trust City with his development if I am honest, I feel we will ruin what wis arguably the best young English player I have seen for a good few years.
