Reminds me of Ravel Morrison in that video, hopefully just in playing style.

I am very interested to see how he gets on at Lazio next season.

It's a shame because he was arguably the most technically gifted English player in the U21's and could go on to become a really top player both for club and country if he sorts his head out.

He did indeed! He was good.

You can catch both games that were streamed live on here by the way.

http://www.torneodelfuturo.com/ To get to the one he was involved in press 'watch again' then the right arrow on the player. You'll have to skip forward a bit to find them both but its well, well worth it.

Cool, I didn't know they put them on catch-up. Cheers for that.

Indeed a fine and exciting prospect but I did notice a bit of a petulant attitude, hopefully just an 'off' day.

To be honest id expect he would have one. His ego has been well and truly massaged over the past couple of years telling him he's the best thing ever. English lads are prone to billy big bollocks stuff, especially flair ones who take the headlines. I reckon we've got him in young enough though to sort that out though fortunately.

Obviously I could be wrong though!

He gained the best player of the tournament award in Austria at that Red Bull Slzburg tournament, another one to his collection:

P.S. in 2013, Mabu Garcia won the same award

He scored two today as the u16s won 9-2, grabbed a hatrick last week as well as the u16s won 10-0.... brilliant team that.

Manu Garcia played in the friendlies in Australia. Played really well.
Watched him recently for the EDS and didn't play to well but the guy is class.
One or two performances he doesn't look great but you can tell what a footballer he is going to be.

If he continues like that he's likely to become like Javier Pstore, playing kind of showily, but not effectively

Garcia is a kid still. He hadn't actually been the best player in any u18s or EDS games last year, though he only made a handful of appearances, mainly as a sub, for the EDS too. He was always a very neat supporting character with clear potential. This year he's gone full time with the EDS and yes he has struggled a tad, but so has the whole team. He's only very young and needs to grow individually. He will always, always look great around great players, but its when things aren't quite so sleek around him that his strengths and weaknesses will come to the fore.

He needs to learn to be the main man in that scenario, which im sure he will. One things for certain, he's a great lad - he really is, spoke to him briefly and his attitude is fantastic, and he will be aware of all of this. He's only seventeen still. Plenty of time.

Two goals in the opening ten minutes on his debut for the u18s. Promising start to his City career!
