Source for those quotes?Pep has stated that he doesn’t think Sancho will be back at City while he is in charge, so it’s all rather academic.

No, because he wouldn't sign a contract we had to remove him from the party (presuming he was in it). There were rumours that he threw a wobbly and didn't turn up for training but the other narrative is that we told him to take time off and think about it. No idea which is true and I don't think it's particularly important anyway.Did he go AWOL before the US tour?
I'm just glad he never slated the club like that snake Milner.Sterling left his childhood club for the club that offered him the most money, and then left liverpool as soon as his first senior contract got towards its end.
Bernardo forced a move away from Benfica for only 15m despite being hailed as their most talented prospect in a decade because he wasn't getting brought through in his preferred position quickly enough.
We love both of these guys, neither are what youd call mercenaries, and Sancho has simply acted just like them.
The only reason people on here are calling him a mercenary is because he left us rather than joined us.
He was just 16 when he decided he was leaving (17 when he actually left), tell me which club (let alone a top one) gives any game time to a 16 year old?
It's alright, take your time...
BTW we paid £60 million for Mahrez, not £70 million and it was a year after Sancho left so for you and the other idiots who don't understand simple timelines, the two aren't connected excepting the fact that Sancho may (only may) have played in his stead if only he'd been more patient. Were we enquiring about him previously? Undoubtedly, we would be looking at multiple players at all times. If a young player can't see past that then good luck to them elsewhere.
The fact that he's done so well since leaving is actually immaterial.
Oh dear, touched a nerve there did I? They do say the truth hurts, sorry about that flower.Look people are allowed to have an opinion on the subject, if you don't agree that is also fine but don't come on being the **** from the off and now throwing out idiots, which is kind of ironic really.
So run along and learn to read the posts you actually quoted.
Here it is for you "we signed Mahrez for 70m a season later," so it looks likely that I knew he signed a season after Sancho left or I wouldn't have fucking typed it now would I?
So you just made a wanker of yourself with your little timeline dig, tut, tut idiots indeed eh.
Everton - Rooney 16
Liverpool - Owen 17
Man Utd - Giggs 16
Is that enough for you?
The fact that he has done so well inside of two years is the thing that actually makes it not immaterial ffs.
I very much doubt Sancho expected himself to be in City's first team at 16 or 17 for that matter, it was more the fact he saw absolutely no chance it was going to happen, it still isn't happening for Foden and he should be on the bench at the minimum every week and ready to come on if we hammering somebody and playing against lesser teams.
The other factor is the more younger players see the likes of Sancho leave City and "make it" so quickly from youth player to top teams first team to International it will become harder to get them to show patience, again Foden as a City fan will be different as he will only want to play for us and not look to rock the boat.
Don't bother with a reply, I have no time to be arguing the toss with a person like yourself for the rest of the day.

sterling and bernardo both left to play for better teamsSterling left his childhood club for the club that offered him the most money, and then left liverpool as soon as his first senior contract got towards its end.

What part of he wanted to leave because he wasn't getting a chance do you need to understand, just have a fucking think before you become the internet ****.
Haha you've simply not fucking idea.
£50m? They would be asking for at least double that.
I wouldn't be against the idea of re-signing him but it would probably require Sane leaving first.
Source for those quotes?
And Sancho left to simply play. He is even more justified in leaving than the other two then.sterling and bernardo both left to play for better teams
