Even more so if at the end of the season Torres ends up with all of the plaudits. I'm probably getting a little ahead of myself there though.
However good Torres is the scum player will get all the plaudits, just think lingaard, wellbeck, brown, O’Shea, cleverley et al

Yep and to think if O'Shea had been English they would all have had multiple England caps between them, Just compare Cleverly with Grealish, Don't like either of them but one has done wonders for a struggling Villa side without any international recoginition the other got in the England squad for pulling a rag shirt on.

I remember when Cleverley first broke into the rags team the rags & media where really bigging him up to be something special. He was getting the sort of headlines Foden is getting now. He was being described as the future of England's midfield. Anybody with any intelligence could see he was just a typical 10 a penny, runs around a lot, puts a shift in, gets plenty of sweat on his shirt type of player. The sort Joe Royle used to describe as a ratter. He has found his true level at Watford.

What's the reasoning behind that?

Dortmund have set their preseason tour as the deadline for all transfers. They've told Sancho and his agent (and all clubs) that if he gets on the plane on August 10th, he's staying another year.

I don't think he's too against that to be honest.

He'll cost them 100m. It''s not easy to be a fantastic signing when you cost so much. Wonders are expected from him. Plus one of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood will be benched and won't be happy.

We could soften their financial outlay by offering £50m for Greenwood.
