Sane can lace his own boots if he doesn't want to be here. I seem to remember many games with Leroy hanging his head and pouting on the field and couldn't be bothered to track back. I think this improved late on but he definitely had/has his own issues between the ears he brings to the team which no doubt saw him watching many games vs playing. I say if he goes to Bayern in January it definitely decreases Peps likelihood of ending up there. Being a star at Dortmund and a star here are 2 different things... If Sancho came here it'd only be if he were willing to work into the team. I realize he left because he couldn't get in the team but that was a bit ago. He has proven enough to be worthy of our taking interest but he'll sit just like Sane did if he can't do what's asked of him.

If Sane doesn't want to be here and is likely leaving as he's been rumored to be for the better part of the year... his level is moot and we either bring in the most comparable replacement or just hope for the best like we did with Kompany.

He's had one good season in his very first full season of football!

In his current second season of football his numbers are currently close to Messi's. If your going to go after him for his performances then you are very mistaken. He has already proven himself to be an elite player by basically becoming invaluable to Dortmund.

If we sell Sane, then we could bring in Sancho and it should allow a CB signing as well.

I think that's all we would need for the foreseeable future also. We would be set in every position with good enough back ups (Gundogan, Stones, Foden etc).

agreed mate. If Leroy wants out then we should try and get sancho in and koulibaly if possible! Genuinely think we would have a good smack at the champions league then
