Britain has the most distorted and childish view of Jägermeister...
How can it "f*ck you up"? It's just a 35% herbal liqueur - a stronger cough syrup. Are you sure it's not a combination of red bull and the anticipation of being "f*cked up" that makes you this way?

In continental Europe Jägermeister is enjoyed as a digestif, especially after a full meal. It also goes very well as a "side-drink" to darker beer.

Jägermeister is generally drank by older men in Europe.

I'd assume our friends over the Atlantic share the British view as well. And how can it fuck people up when it is just stromg cough syrup? Well vodka is a whopping 2.5% stronger, but you don't seee many kids necking it when they have a sniffle.
The best digestivo I've had was Grappa when in Rimmini. Lovely stuff.

I work in a bar and this drink is the bain on my life. Dropping a shot glass into a drink does nothing whatsoever and is purely a gimic. As for Jager, it's alcohol volume is less than vodka, whiskey, gin etc so to assume it gets you more "f*cked up" is purely a myth.

Tend to find that people who drink this also drink amaretto and cranberry juice, i'm taking "straight" guys here! Man the fook up for gods sake!!!

Often overpriced and taste gash. Why do they have this image of being cooler than any other spirit and mixer? For posers in my opinion, just liking sticking a wedge of lime in your bottle of Corona.
