I usually give to small local charities rather than the big international ones with huge pay for execs. I might have to change my mind. So many cheats, even in the charity world.

He ran a discounted charity food shop for the poor people of Burnley. I don't know the street name but it was just a few clicks up from Spoons. The food shop has been closed for around six months, but it's still a charity shop selling second hand non food goods. I think it was called Depher, and the chap projected as a decent human being.

The weird thing is, in the days of instant access to information, why did he think he would get away with it ? He told everyone he had saved an old dears life by fixing her heating for free, did he not think that someone would find out she'd been dead for 2 years ?

I hope he goes to jail, is made bankrupt and made to repay everyone.

On and we slag the bbc on here but credit where its due.

True, but the media are also partly responsible, promoting these crooks as heroes, tugging on heart strings, long self promoting reports, sad music, etc and the bbc are extremely culpable in that. Look at the constant uncle Tom ( who was genuine ) coverage, only for his family to help themselves.
