James Milner - Everton

If Pellers is going with two players for each position i.e. squad of 22 top players. He needs five homegrown.

1) Hart
2) Wright
3) Clichy
4) Milner
5) Rodwell

That takes into account losing Richards, Lescott and Barry.

If we take the popular view that Mangala Sagna and Fernando are on their way in. The only player I can see who might replace what Milner brings to the party is Fabregas because he spent his youth in Arsenals academy, unless we are going for Pogba. After that it is the likes of Shaw, Barkley etc. But that is for the board in whom I trust.

I don't buy it. We are going to lose several home grown players already so the club won't want another to go. Can Everton even afford his wages? That's a big part of the issue with signing Barry. If they can't afford Barry how can they afford Milner?

It's a tough one and I know our homegrown quota is a big worry for us, I can see some strange incoming and outgoing movement in the summer for us to meet the requirements.

Well it would certainly be strange to sell him to help meet the requirements.

I think personally,if that was the case,he would of gone at the start of the season with it being a World Cup year........possibly his last too.
