Wouldn't say he was outstanding tonight but I thought he put 100% into the whole game. He was committed in every tackle, battled for the ball, chased down as much as he could and filled in about 4 extra positions when needed! I think he's a great player and I wish he was in the team more often in centre mid. Not sure if he's better than Barry as an all round player but he's quicker and his passing is very slick. Very impressed tonight and he battled as any of us would to get City into the Champions' League.

Have to disagree, thought he was excellent - both in the middle and out wide. I think it's time we reconsidered playing with inside out winders.

At MCR he can still drift wide and with Richards backing him up he doesn't need as nimble at AMR

Underrated player and vital mmber of the squad. Was very shrewd in setting up the goal and is a much better player than people give him credit for. It seems because he works so hard that people seem to assume that he's just a work-horse, but there's so much more to his game

I like Milner, think he adds a bit of steel and grit to the midfield as well as being able to play a little. Very versatile which stands him in good sted and i really think he will be Barrys natural replacement as Barry is getting on a bit.

He has been excellent when played in central midfield, his proper position.

Had an outstanding game and along with Hart, Micah, Joleon and Vinnie was one of the best performers.

If he can fill that slot in midfield while offering us width and crosses I can see a big part in our system for him.
