Lol I love how people just wanted the £15m towards another player. Would have helped with FFP but it's not like we really needed the money, we are well within it at the moment and he's off the wage bill, he saw out his contract and went to another club where he would have a better chance of keeping a spot in his favored position nothing sly about it for me. He didn't have the balls or integrity to come out and make it clear what he intended to do until the 11th hour.

I don't care about him , haven't missed him, and the fact that he is playing in just about every position possible at the Dippers means that he is versatile, but not good enough to hold down a role in his STATED preferred position.

To me, that indicates that he was worried about the flack he would get from supporters and kept stringing things out, before leaving without months of shit.

That was his choice - fair enough, but that is why I think people are giving him stick .

The good that came out of it was a big shake up at the club which I'm sure is still ongoing, players having their contracts renewed and not left to go stale so much for txiki and Soriano to sort out thank fuck they were brought in..
