Think I’d prefer Trafford to Costa. He’s not as good with his feet, but he’d be club trained and give us more room to buy another foreign player somewhere else in the squad.

Either of them is going to be a downgrade on Ederson, so we’ll need to be patient with whomever comes.

Why would Trafford come to be a number 2 when he could be the number 1 at Newcastle?

Then ask the same about Costa. Why would he come to be a number 2?

They both fairly compete for #1.

If it's just Costa, it's likely he is #1 with Ortega #2.
