My mates are saying he’s been very good for Burnley this season, league one straight into the prem was prob too bigger a jump in one go for him, if Burnley go up maybe we’ll see a different Trafford next season?
He will be an older Trafford than last time in PL so more experienced

8 consecutive clean sheets now. Nobody has scored against him since mid December
9 goals conceded all season, including both penalties he has faced is mighty impressive, but Burnley are ultra defensive and Trafford has made relatively few saves, although he commands his area and captains his defence very well.

61 saves so far this season is on the lower end but not drastically so.

If you're into stats, the expected goals conceded against him is 18 so having a +9 PSxG+/- stat is the second best in the country behind Johansson (who I also really rate)

Needs to improve his game with his feet, absolutely no use to us until then

Always thought Bazunu had a higher ceiling but is currently playing in the reserve league and is described by Southampton fans as the worst goalkeeper they have ever seen.

The thing about goalkeepers is that you never really know how good they can become. Their career trajectory is often so different from outfield players, so wouldn't surprise me at all if Trafford ends up world-class, loads of experience already

The 'ex player we should have kept' is getting embarrassing....Trafford is bang average, the only one who is even debatable about being as good or better than what we have is Palmer....and he chose to go ;)

Isn’t Bazunu coming back from a snapped Achillies?

Could be, I just saw a clip of him playing in the reserve league the other day and the comments from the Soton fans about him were brutal
He had an achilles injury almost a year ago.

I wouldn't pay much notice to that basketcase of a club.
Ramsdale isn't faring too well either.
I think they have had 7 ex City youth players in the last 2 seasons and no one seems to have been successful, with exception of Lavia.

Bazunu will be top notch keeper, horrendous injury hes coming back from. Not many kids get thrown into the prem like he did at his age, in the long run similar to trafford he will be amazing. Seen enough games for Ireland to know he has it, just needs to mature and get some experience.

PNE and Stoke fans thought Liam Delap was a complete waste of space and not good enough to play league 1. Used to follow their forums when he was on loan and they all thought he was a talentless hack.

18 months later he’s be linked to the top 4 for £75m+ and is one of the biggest young talents in the league despite playing for its worst club.

Arrigo Sacchi on fans - “the cows in the fields outside Milanello see us training every day; it doesn’t make them good football coaches either.”

There isn't a single Southampton fan who wouldn't actually pay a club to take him,he was woeful for them. They like Ramsdale, though they thought the money would have been better used elsewhere.

And yet strangely he played every single minute of the first 41 league games last season for them up until he ruptured his achilles tendon. He only started playing again on the 10th of January for their PL2 team. So I'm calling bullshit on the Southampton fans opinions.

Hope he has a good loan at Liege and then fucks Southampton off.

....and Stephens played every game he was fit, and was captain, yet they would all happily play me (trying to beat the record of 'own goals') than him.....there's a very good reason most of them wanted Russell Martin gone, before the end of last season, straight after promotion, and every day until he went.....we have both stated one of the reasons why ;)
