You don't like Harrington? He has to change his 2nd name.
That's the only issue I see with this move.

For some strange reason goal keepers seem to abandon their shot stopping instincts the moment they spend a full season under Mancisdor, that's an undeniable factYou mean the coach that taught Trafford most of what he knows and the coach that coached treble winning 4 times in a row keeper Ederson.Your alright thanks think we'll stick with what we have.
He was only 20 when he made his PL debut for Burnley (against us at that). He's better with his feet than Ortega and a better shot stopper than Eddie whilst still being just 22 years old. I think he'll be more than fine.Worried about this, not because Trafford specifically but more keepers just feel very high risk... its hard to know what you're getting because stats are so club dependant, the keepers with the knot saves are always the ones nearer the bottom as they get more shots against them because their outfield players are shit
What I saw of Trafford in the Prem was frankly really worrying and think there is no way he can be our #1, but didnt see any of his i nthe Championship last year where he on paper has excelled and at 22 I cant blame him for struggling in his first Prem season
So definitely worried...but not like I'm enjoying either Ederson or Ortefa...

No idea re Ederson’s save %, but even without looking, I can say with extreme confidence it’s nowhere near 85%.James Trafford stats from last season
104 shots faced , 16 goals conceded
88 saves , save percentage of 85%
13 goals prevented via 1v1
29 clean sheets
2 penalties faced , 0 conceded
30 high claims in the box, highest in the league
70.3% pass accuracy
209 accurate long balls
Long ball accuracy of 31% which is average for a keeper.
Average rating of a 7/10

85% is what you need. A keeper who is a **** to score against.
Never mind all this playing out from the back nonsense. Keep the ball out of the net.
Do both, that's what Pep will want.No idea re Ederson’s save %, but even without looking, I can say with extreme confidence it’s nowhere near 85%.

Yes from what I've seen think Trafford is the better 'keeper'. Stats though can't tell a full story the shots our keepers face are usually from teams that have got in behind the defence ,not from hopefull or snatched shots and from better players as well.Last season.
Ortega 64%
Ederson 67%
Trafford 84%
