Jamie Carragher blocked from Dortmund away section

I really think this guy needs to be called out for this.

The audacity of the man.

Firstly, if he wants to experience being amongst Dortmund fans he can can fly over to Germany and experience any of their home games which I think he has done already.

Why did he think it was a good idea as a well known fan of one of City’s prominent rivals?

Secondly, he is working for huge broadcasters where his job is to be impartial and comment on football games.

His words regarding 115 have consequences for us as fans, it is not him who has to put up with the abuse from other fans.

He has also chosen to do this a few days before playing Liverpool, further inflaming tensions.

Someone needs to have a word. At least try to have an iota of professionalism.

Our PR our team are pathetic. The club has been slaughtered for years and absolutely fuck all is ever done.

Him and Micah Richard’s think they have licence to clown around, do whatever they want and say whatever they want.

As someone else said, some red shirt fans are complete mard arses. When we were shit and they were winning everything I acknowledged their brilliance even though I hated them and still gave them as much as I took. But they just revert to ‘cheats’ ‘pep is ruining football’ ‘cheque book pep’. Mard fucking arses.

Carragher keeping his job at was the result of (for him) very fortuitous circumstances.
A few months earlier, Sky made the decision not to fire Kirsty Gallacher following a drink driving conviction. Consequently the management there were backed into a corner and couldn’t get rid of Carragher for (as disgusting as it was) a considerably less serious transgression.
I did not know that, but in most other peoples jobs both should have been fucked off.
I see the point your making, but no.

That’s exactly what it was about!

He broadcast from the Yellow Wall once and it went well for him with the fans and he became a fan of their fans. This was a follow through, which would have inevitably resulted in him talking about how the Etihad was dead with the exception of the game long “super support” of the traveling Yellow Wall…and Micah would have been expected to big up City games, and the Rag host (Kate Scott) would have scoffed, as would Thierry Henry, and there you have it!

In his interviews after the Liverpool game (Shock, he was at Klanfield with Schmeichel the night before!), when they threw it back to the studio for questions of the player guest, it was all about “Do you know Big Meeks?” with Richard’s (can’t even bring myself to call him Micah anymore!) asking each player “Who do you like better, me or Carra on the show?”

They did have a good, somewhat funny exchange with Slot, which was started by Henry saying his name in Dutch, and they acted like they had invented live, off the cuff, TV, because Slot had a joke with them!!

However, Richards only question was “What do the Liverpool players think of Carra?” because he’s been a bit vocal during their run of losses. Slot took it in stride, and in good humor, but it was THE ONLY THING THEY ASKED A BIG CLUB MANAGER ON A EUROPEAN NIGHT WHEN THEY BEAT REAL MADRID!!! Fucking painful!!

Gareth Bale took Carragher’s place in the studio and he was as brain dead and vacuous as you already imagined he would be! He was there as the Real Madrid foil to Henry’s Barcelona & Arsenal lovedest, but boring?? OMG!!

Like someone said above, I set an alarm for 5 mins before the game starts so I avoid all the childish bullshit and just watch the game.l, but occasionally stick with it after the game for player/manager interviews. I’m thinking of fucking that off, too, after this week!

Lastly, we have Spanish language (Mexican) coverage of the games on my cable package, and I often watch their coverage with the volume on about 2 rather than do the English feed from CBS/Paramount, but if Barcelona or Real Madrid are playing, they’re nearly always the game they show! This time, sadly, that was the case!

How Richard’s earns a living from analysis and punditry begs belief. Henry is occasionally interesting, but he is also so up his own arse. He likes to speak a bit of “foreign” as often as possible thinking it elevates him! After the City game, he spoke a bit of German and then French to Doku, who answered in German and then French, and then literally said, on an English language feed, “I’m sorry but we will have to continue in English!” Smarmy ****!!

Last season, they had a running joke about Richards and the Brest, the French team. He literally couldn’t get the name out of his mouth without a (pardon the pun!) titter.

It was embarrassing to watch as the studio broke down in laughter every time they tried to cover one of their games and it vacate a focus of their coverage of the team that they would say the name of the team at every opportunity.

Lastly, on Carragher, he has clearly seen that Richards is printing money on multiple platforms, as he’s an independent operator. Carragher has picked up Richards juvenile schtick, rather than sticking to the old MNF Analysis that created this career for him, and is now ALWAYS going for a bigger laugh, or more pointed comment, or bigger personal slam, than Richards and it is painful to watch the childishness of it all.
CBS's coverage of CL is just a cringefest. The 'pundit' panel consists of a loser who spits on kids, an idiot mistaking himself as a comedian and a genuine legend of the game acting childish and thinking that this behaviour makes him look "cool". The Brest thing last season was just embarrassing; these 40 years+ men guffawing, laughing and acting like 10 year olds just because the team's name resemble a female body part. But, I guess that is what works for the public now!

I get some of the softly softly approach from the club over many things. Even if I don't agree with them.
But they really need to make an example of this piss taking twunt.
Banned from the ground immediately.
Anything less is unacceptable.

Given the efforts of both teams to de-escalate our fixtures following years of bus attacks, assaults on teenage girls and more, his actions are truly disappointing.

Carragher has a questionable record for poor behaviour. Be it defending racists or spitting on kids, he's lower than a rattlesnake's butthole. Thinking back to his playing days, he was to me always the weakest link, in a Liverpool team that wasn't exactly ripping up trees that regularly either..

His response too the article shows him to be a small man who hates being belittled in any way, and in questioning the supposed bias of Keegan he rather ungracefully confirms his own.

Not welcome at our ground. He's a role model only for hatred, jealousy and incitement, I would hope he club had a quiet word with sky ahead of Sunday. Quiet only because I'd worry that he'd try to rally the away fans with news of a banning order.
