Didn't realise how tough these fixture were until now :( that's one hell of a fixture list in 1 month against some very tough teams. The 4 league games we play compared to our title rivals are scary Che,Ars & Liverpool all very winnable games. Can't from those fixture see us being top by end of Jan so imo if we're 2/3 points from top that'll be a very good achievement.

What do u guys recon?

Only see us losing points at Spurs tbh, and that's only if they pick up their pace in the next month, and Soldado figures out how to find the net again.

Honestly I can see us winning every game... Much like our talked about away form, Spurs are kinda poor at Home this season in the league. At worst, we might draw the Spurs game. We've beaten Newcastle home and away this season with different teams and not too worried about their current form. Everything else we will handle appropriately.

Wow you guys have more confidence than me lol.

Everyone else seems to have games with "dropped points" written on them.

Arsenal gotta deal with the fired up Cardiff who will have a new manager. Spurs are better away from home and Southampton away.

Chelsea have the rags which has boring draw stamped on this and Southampton away.

Liverpool have Stoke away and Everton.

Villa could shock Arsenal again and/or beat Liverpool.

This is the month we make it quiet for "away form woes"

January will always be a tough month if we are challenging in all cups its doesn't get easier as each month adds more fixtures than previous.

Hopefully we can come out of this with a positive set of results.

Next round of the FA cup and final visit against United in the Capitol one.

Also a good set of results in the league, hopefully not too much to ask.

Indeed we are!

How i see it:

Arsenal are up against the joker of this season, Southampton away, which can be a very tricky match. And Aston Villa(Benteke) can surprise on the right day. - 8 Points

Chelsea are bound to lose points to rags, either a draw or loss. Yet they have to play Southampton away too. - 7 points (Counting a loss against rags)

Liverpool are up against Stoke which will be a wall away from home and Everton at home, depending on form Everton could be a real threat. - 8 points

And we take 10 points, only drawing against Spurs. Then january would be perfect for me.

All depends on injuries, sounds like Jovetic is about to return, Demichelis injury wasn't too bad and Aguero back in a couple of weeks. Just Richards which may take a while longer. Maybe we can finally have some luck with injuries (please, we are due an injury free period). We might even make an addition or two in transfer market. Swansea are without Michu, Vorm and Dyer and are having an average season so we should be able to beat them. Newcastle could be tricky as they are on good form but we seem to be their bogey team. Cardiff at home should be straightforward. Then there is Spurs who are crap atm, no idea how they will be in a month but if it is like they are now then it will be another mauling. As for the cups, Blackburn away we should be able to play second string and still come away with a win. Hopefully we can establish a comfy lead vs. West Ham in first leg to make away leg easier. All depends on injuries for me, not that bad a month, probably easier than December where we had two tough home games, away to the best team in the world and away to Saints who are a really good side.
