Did anyone else see kia joorabchian in the North Stand hospitality boxes. Anyone know who he has on his books apart from Tevez?

Yes
He had a ticket for the Colin Bell stand but Hughes demanded that he took up a position that was nowhere near where he was meant to be.
He'll be on the bench next week, or at right back.

Most of the people we're talking about are pretty much set for life though...

There is being set for life and set for life, compared to the US footballers are not paid as much as major baseball and American football players

Its not necessarily about the player though, as I said somewhere else the Champions league is worth approx £30m to the winning club, come Jan you have no guarantee you will win it and it is only the better teams that are left, with our wealth even though they keep insisting they wont pay over the odds how could some of the clubs around europe resist if we did ? once the selling clubs on board it makes life a lot easier for the player to be persuaded.

Theoretically how would Barca react to a £100m bid for one player or AC to a £70m bid ? I dont for one minute think they would but ADUG could go and spend £500m in Jan without having to make that big a dent in there pocket. Its going to be an interesting couple of months coming up and it could work either way but the only thing for sure is that by Dec 31st we will have been linked with half the players in the world lol

it would have to be a player who is not in a team that is playing in the champions league surely????

why would a player playing for such a club leave and come to a midtable prem team......????

so that should at least narrow it down

id love it to be fabiano or adriano however

£££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

You are under-estimating the power of greed.

And over estimating our current position lol..............

i do remember someone else posting something like this maybe a month or so back.

said there are going to be signings made, and im pretty sure said the same thing as this feller is. that one of the signings is going to rock the football world, huge fee. almost exactly the same wording actually.

i cant remember who posted it though, and am not about to go dig it up

so it could either be the same person being a wum on two seperate occassions, or maybe there is something to it.

eitherway, im gonna wait until january before i believe owt

yeh, i meant that.

the citizens of wum are very wel known pranksters. they have a yearly event called the "50k Bamenda Bash" where all the young male locals have to devise an elaborate practical joke upon their southern rivals. The citizens of Bamenda hate them and roll their eyes a lot when talking about them.

its rumoured the wumians were behind the enron scandle, JFK, the genetic modification of rooneys face and the finalisation of Benjani to one MCFC.

Erm correct me if I'm wrong, but do we not have Robinho, and were we not mid-table when we signed him??? And by that I mean last seasons finish!!!

Because he will double his wages....realise that we're only 6 or so points away from 5th. Then he'll have been told we're also close to signing another superstar to go with him and Robinho and suddenly sacrificing Champs League football next sunday doesn't seem so bad when he'll be playing for the world all-stars 11 and god's own for 200k per week.
