Cannot argue with that. Worse than when we were dicking around all summer in 2012 and ended up with average to poor players like Rodwell and Garcia when we should have gone big dick to stay ahead of the competition.

Good thing is this time we will still win the league hopefully.
 
A centre half, hopefully not JFE

Delph only out for 2 weeks so don’t need a left back
 
With us not getting Sanchez I’d imagine it sets us back to square one regarding transfers this month. We would’ve originally had a plan to get a defender and wait for Sanchez in summer. We then had to prioritise him because he couldn’t wait and had to put any other moves on the back burner.

So now we’ve missed him, it could either mean we move for Martinez considering we have that space for him in the CL squad now or (I seen this in a report earlier I can’t remember where nor can I find it) that Pep was promised an alternative attacking player.

Either way it opens up some avenues and I bet the last two weeks of this window will be less frustrating and the next few days will be telling.
 
I’m hoping we go for Martinez now if indeed it’s between him or Evans.

Personally I really hope we are looking at a left back.

OK Danilo can fill in, but that also means Walker has to play every game at right back.
