January transfer window

If city knew all along who they wanted to sign in this window, just why leave it until the very last day to try and sign not 1 but 2 players. Utter madness only ourselves to blame for messing this up. What's betting mangala & Fernando go elsewhere in the summer What were tixi and soriano playing at.
There ya go,,,

No one in or out. Not watching SSN all night for nothing.
same here finished work at 2am, been up since, i probs crash now and we have signed half a dozen players when i wake up.doh

Seems to be a pretty boring day all round, I think the hilarity of Caroll-Torres a few years back still lingers, big jan deals are few and far between nowadays.

This has to be the dullest transfer deadline day ever. Never been much of a fan of the Jan window personally as no one wants to lose key player mid season so it's usually just the dross players moving about. Wouldn't mind one bit if they scrapped it and just had the summer one.

I only watch the SSN transfer nonsense to see the Stokie crowd gather in wonderment at the bright lights and camera equipment. It's like watching an Attenborough documentary about a newly discovered tribe in the depths of the Brazilian rain forest.

Berbaflop to Monico and Kallstrom to the Arse is about as exciting as it's going to get transfer wise. Can't really say I'm that arsed about our comings and goings this window. Excluding possible injury issues (Touch wood) I'm happy with what we have. Summer time will be when we have our transfer fun.

The thing is, we walked away from Hazard, Isco, now possibly Fernando, Mangala, or both. Although a great signing, we certainly paid full fee for Fernandinho. We keep holding firm, which is the right thing to do, but it doesn't seem to be having the desired effect.

I'd be delighted if Fernandinho cost £100m. He's instrumental to us.

Totally agree. Despite the 115 goals so far I think we miss what Isco and Hazard could bring.

Who's with me?

Nobody so stop talking shit.

We paid the full fee for Fernandinho? We paid a fee we obviously felt reflected his quality and obviously have refused to pay fees for Hazard, Fernando, Mangala etc. because we haven't felt it reflected their quality/likelihood of success.

Hazard yes, Isco, while potential to be world class wouldn't have provided more than Nasri has this season. By the time he fulfills his potential he'll be playing elsewhere after Real sign a new flavour of the month.

we got Negredo and Navas for peanuts.

Hazard is single one I wouldn't mind we decided to bow over.

We didn't walk away at all. Both us and Chelsea had our bids accepted for Hazard and he chose to play for them cos of the Champions League win.

I avoided the whole day to get myself in within the last deadlne day hour.

This next 58 minutes will be the best ever.

Not really, he chose to play for them because they paid all his camp was asking including 6m agent fee City refused to pay.
