Says that if City come 2nd this season; it will be the biggest ever dissapointment in Premier League history!

Going on about us being pretty much joint 2nd last season only to fall short on goal difference but still won a trophy wheras this season finishing 2nd and not winning a trophy despite it being one of the poorest premier league seasons in terms of quality with all the top teams in transition will be the biggest dissapointment in PL history and Fergies biggest ever title win with what he thinks is the worst United side of the last 20 years...

he did say he still predicts us to win the league this year!!

Just because Chelsea are having a poor season makes the premiership poor, Cundy is a wanker!

I usually get the first hour everyday coming home from work, it's decent when Durham is on but Cundy just talks utter shite. The debate today was shocking to start - Mancini under achieving and Steve Kean over achieving wtf, had to turn it off when Darren Gough said Smalling and Jones are better than Richards

I'm still trying to get my head around this 7 point lead that we are supposed to have had and 'blown'. It's never been more than 5 having played the same games and since we lost to Chelsea it's never been more than 3 and we were level over Christmas/New Year.

As much as we despise United they deserve credit for staying with us - in the same way we should be praised for keeping them behind us for so long - it's not like they are dropping loads of points and we still can't get over the line. It's ridiculous to suggest we've thrown it all it away - we were never far enough in front for that.

Exactly. The lead has never been more than 5 points and never more than 3 since before Christmas. How that constitutes chucking it away - should we not win the league - is beyond me. We may well have been top of the league for vitually all of the past 5 months but we were never far enough ahead to be deemed to have an unassailable lead.

For better examples of "Devon Loch" moments people need to look at Newcastle blowing a 12 point lead over United, United blowing a 12 point lead over Arsenal, and United capitulating towards the end of the 91-92 season and letting Leeds in.

I dont make him wrong. With the way we started and following the 6-1 we should of romped home with the league ala Chelsea first season under Mourinho instead we have managed to hand the rags the incentive and raise the white flag in every cup its a massive disappointment

Poor old Cundy, he seems to have forgotten his own illustrious Premier League career.

Considering the rags have only lost three, are only four points ahead, even if you turned our lost matches into draws we'd only be on level points with a game in hand, that's hardly "romping" it.
Face facts, the rags are having an outstanding season, so we have to show our mettle and prove we are better
We are in what is looking like one of the most exciting endings ever to a Premier league season, but there is still more than a quarter of the season remaining with 30 points left to play for

Exactly mate,we could come 2nd with 90+ points and some would be in the opinion we have thrown it away..

The fact is though most teams who have been top for 5 months of a season would win the title but we are not there now when it really matters. All im saying is Cundy is right about if we dont win it

So would you say we would have thrown it away if they beat us by a point and both teams surpass 90+ points..

Yes or No?

I dont know yet. That is all maybe and maybe not stuff at the moment. I cant tell you how i will feel in 2 months time even if you told me this was a certainty. I feel like we have thrown away a good lead with a much better team during a period when we should of extended are lead
