Doesn't look like a mistake to me . I am a 110% in support of this transfer but the last thing we need is a scandal that would damage the team spirit and throw us into the "suarez" situation . The alleged incident happened last year so that's in the past but we have to give him a stern warning that the PL is a multicultural league so he should choose his words / actions more carefully. All that covering your mouth and talking shit stuff is unacceptable in the PL . Having said that , i can't wait to see him play in the position NDJ left . Welcome JG :)

That's true I always remember Benjani a few years back we didn't find out for sure until about two days later I think.

Wasn't that because we tried to back out of that deal claiming we hadn't dotted the i's and crossed the t's after we realised he was shit and paid far too much for him. If i remember right the only reason the f.a. gave there approval for the deal was cause pompey bought defoe with the Benjani money and they had done it right and couldn't send him back?
