He still needs to get here and complete a medical, which will take a few hours. We're cutting it fine.

Someone please confirm this man is on a plane right now!! Any flights coming into manchesdter airport from Portugal today? Or even private jets??

We could medical him in Portugal if time is a problem. But I feel, he will have time to fly to Manchester.

Hehehehehe, some light reading.

Duncan Castles - Javi Garcia will cost #mcfc £15.8million + £2.4million in variables, making it more or less an £18.2million deal. (via @DuncanCastles)

Unbelievable, they just repeated £24million in the studio even after the reporter said £16million.

lol the douche SSN presenter still yelling 24m pounds after their correspondent said 16m

Is that because they include "add ons" for us?

Anyway just quoted 16mill now :)

Predicting the first XI line up after international break will be interesting

2359: European football expert Andy Brassell: "So, it seems to have ended up as a yes and a no from Portugal to the Premier League today. The signing of Javi Garcia is a coup for Roberto Mancini, and not nearly as expensive as it could have been at an initial £16m. With all due respect to Nigel de Jong, Garcia is a huge upgrade. Brought through the Real Madrid academy he is of good stock, but has improved his game tenfold since arriving in Lisbon. The 25-year-old is strong, good in the air, a good passer and has the adaptability to play at centre-back too. Perhaps the best aspect for City is that his power will allow Yaya Toure to be used further forward more often.
