i remember sitting in the back of my dads car ''dad when are we going to the esso'' just to get as many colinn bells as i could

remember the badges from esso? i got them all but derby county was the rare one,i was in some tin pot garage in scotland the type that a bell rang ehen you drove in after my dad filled up guess what DERBY COUNTY i was made up

This coin collection is the reason that I - a Londoner, originally - ended up a City fan. I was six, my parents weren't interested in football, and I wanted a team to support. So I decided that both my brother and I were going to support the team of the player I got for my first Esso coin. It turned out to be Francis Lee. My brother got Bobby Charlton, but he was only five, so we both supported City. I was that close to being a United fan!
