Older fans like myself may feel that Hartlepool's relegation is long overdue, in the days before automatic promotion/relegation between the 4th tier and non-league Hartlepool successfully applied for re-election to the league more times than any other club, relying on favours from other league clubs' chairmen.

After being racially abused by their fans in the 80s ,before a darlington/Hartlepool pre season friendly,and being threatened by a load of their mob when walking to the ground with a mate and his elderly frail Dad,i have despised the club and the town ever since.hope they fold and die.
Calling for the managers head while chairing a live sports show is just crass,and only an imbecile such as the silly westham fan who posts on here would think otherwise.
