I didn't mind it when he had the old team with him

It was definitely an old boys club. 5 mates having a good chat and a laugh about football. All that was missing was a few pints, which Merson would have drunk. But for whatever reason it worked. There was a good chemistry. The banter was top notch at times. I don't know what it's like now. I gave up watching it.

I'd imagine some of them are no longer around.
It was said in jest, I think the heyday of British wrestling was in the late 70's, if most of the guys were in their 30's then it would make them to be in their late 70's now. Good time though, I went to the Longfield Suite in Prestwich to watch the wrestling in the 70's.
 
Surprised if the next host isn't someone like the Cockney Rag with a panel consisting of 3 even thicker cunts and Sue Smith.
But you appear to be missing the obvious synergy of having Sue Smith on the panel?

If Sue were to pull a sicky, they'd be able to deploy Stephen Warnock and still announce him as Sue Smith............

I remember that now i have watched it ,i used to watch wrestling with my mum whilst dad and my brothers sat around the radio for football scores , one of the very few fond memories or indeed any memories of my childhood
