The likes of Morrison, Agbonlahor and O'hara as experts is truly comical as their combined IQ is in single figures. Nedum is very articulate and unbiased and would make a great pundit, but I'm biased

Spot on. Recently it’s almost as if they are going out of their way to find the worst pundits. As if they are deliberately trying to kill off their own show.
 
By Sky standards I actually think their midweek live results show presenter seems to do a decent unbiased job, and has shown he can handle the rapid fire nature of results coming in left right and centre. Julian Warren I think his name is.

edit. I should of course have name checked City supporter Mike Wedderburn- now he really would be the best choice!

Whoever Sky pick will be the wrong choice for the people who stopped watching it 15 years ago.

Bit like the thread about a Question of Sport. Lots of suggestions of who it shouldn’t be, but none for who should actually do it.

What about Jeff Stelling? Team captains Clinton Morrison and Karen Carney.... Would have to be better than the current lineup and that brilliant curling segment has to be retained.
 
The BT version of Soccer Saturday is by far the superior show now. It’s presentation is far more modern and they’ve managed to pick a selection of ex players with great chemistry between them.

For what’s it’s worth the BT show was also better than Soccer Saturday before the old timers got let go. Truth be told, Soccer Saturday had long had its day. The banter was still slightly there but the football commentary was getting worse and worse and some days they would just mumble when they clearly couldn’t be arsed. It was the correct decision to make changes but they completely dropped when ball when it came to who the replacements would be.
 
No denying he's very good at delivering the results and stats, etc, but his overall football knowledge leaves a lot to be desired. Same with a lot of the old guard that were on with him.

A classic example of this was a few years ago when they were previewing our Monday night away game at Wembley against Spurs. I honestly thought Stelling and the rest of them were on some kind of wind-up as they were talking about how big a miss Lloris would be due to his suspension following a midweek sending off. There they all were deadly serious talking about the possible ramifications for Spurs and how they may'may not cope against us without their first choice keeper......

Only, Lloris wasn't suspended - he'd been sent off alright but it was in a Champions League game ffs!
