What is up with these Germans? Arrogant, self-righteous, pompous oaf. If he had worked a bit harder he might have made a mediocre full-back. One of the worst goalkeepers to appear in the PL.

I'm not normally a vindictive kind of person but I'm hoping that Bayern and any other German team still left in draw the equivalent of Stalingrad in a severe Russian Winter.

It's a pity the media paid any attention to Lehmann's laughable comments. He is either a fool, or is trying to be "humorous".

I know some of the anti-German statements in this thread are not meant seriously, but before they become so, let's remember another, much finer, German goalkeeper - Bert Trautmann.

the same accusation has been levelled at Barcelona as well in the past due to their high possession football.

City are the most entertaining side in the PL (maybe along with Spurs atm), Lehemann is an ugly no mark who is well suited to being a spokesman for those clueless whingeing nobheads from Islington.

Bit surprised the comments by the Napoli president last week got little attention in comparison to this.

Rather a lame attempt to cause controversy by Lehmann. Wonder what the others with him thought probably tried not to laugh.

Maybe its clear why Lehmann was incompetent at Arsenal. He probably thought they were boring and decided to make a few errors to liven things up.

What a tosser, if it wasn't for Halls Mentol Lyptus which were made in Bury, the German POWs we looked after would have been hacking and spluttering their way through the wars. Both of which, incidentally, we won.

The person Lehmann... no comment about him - he makes stupid comments about Bayern, too. Might be normal if you work for Sky...

But I feel the same about Barcelona's football - yes, you can see the goal scenes - but that is all what is really interesting. The games are very boring. I have not seen enough games of Manchester City to judge that. I only watched the games Hargreaves was in and the games against Bayern - but they have not been like your normal play, or?
